European butter prices ranging from the US equivalent in France of $1.7425/lb. to the US equivalent in Germany of $1.7900/lb. this last week. The Euro continues to loose strength to the dollar making any gains seen in the European pricing non non-consequential to the US marketplace. With 25% tariffs imposed on European butter coming into the US, plus the cost of freight no bulk butter will hit our shores. Of course, it doesn’t help the flow going out of the US either. Our experience in the dairy markets has given us the understanding and tools necessary to manage such risks. BurtKnowsDairy
